About the client: Morris Digital is a leading Ukrainian digital performance advertising agency. The company helps clients to effectively solve their business problems with the help of digital advertising tools. The Morris Digital team’s key competencies are Paid Ads, SEO, and SMM. The company’s employees promote more than 80 businesses and manage advertising budgets of more than 350 thousand USD per month.

Challenge: The Morris Digital team has been using Teamwork software for project and team management for a long time. However, while working with the platform, the company encountered some issues that did not allow effective workflow construction.
Some of these difficulties were:
Inconvenient interface, which made it difficult to use the service. Consequently, platform engagement among Morris Digital teams was significantly low;
Lack of necessary integrations to automate and optimize workflows;
The presence of a large part of the tools that were not necessary for the company and complicated the use of the service, but for which they had to pay;
Lack of analytics to track the effectiveness of teamwork and projects.
Considering the significant pitfalls of working with the existing platform, the company conducted most of its communication through Telegram and project management. Consequently, some of the tasks, agreements, and communications were simply lost, which negatively affected the effectiveness of project management.
Solution: Having analyzed and tested various project management platforms, Morris Digital chose the Asana task manager.
First, the platform’s intuitive, convenient and simple interface made it easy for the team to understand the aspects of using Asana. After the team got acquainted with the platform’s functionality, all communication on tasks and projects was transferred to Asana. It has resulted in improved task tracking, faster communication between teams, and fewer overdue tasks.
With the help of Asana, Morris Digital was able to successfully automate many workflows and minimize the routine work of employees. The team now spends less time submitting a task to the right project or colleague, filling in due dates for assignments, notifying everyone on the project about the status of the task, and many other processes that previously had to be done manually.

Morris Digital has integrated the Zoom platform into Asana to improve meeting efficiency with tasks, assignments, and available transcripts. The team uses the Loom platform for video messaging directly in Asana projects. Employees can also add tasks from any Google Chrome web page through the Chrome extension and Asana integration, actively use Zapier, Telegram bots, and much more.
Morris Digital uses most of Asana’s functionality in its daily work. Therefore, after using the platform and getting acquainted with its capabilities, the problem of overpaying for unnecessary tools disappeared.
