About the client: SendPulse is a Ukrainian product IT company providing a marketing and sales automation platform. Using SendPulse, users can send an email, SMS, and Viber campaigns, push notifications, create websites and chatbots on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Viber messengers, and manage sales using a free CRM system.

In 2022, the SendPulse product line was supplemented by scripted pop-up forms for collecting contacts on the site and a platform for creating online courses.

Challenge: The SendPulse team has been using Google Workspace (from now on, GWS) services for a long time for document management and internal team communication. However, over time, the company began to feel the lack of appropriate protection for corporate files and the need to receive corporate mail with the company’s domain directly based on the GWS service.

The company also had a request regarding the following:

  • Meetings in a convenient and secure environment without time limits.
  • Leverage advanced GWS tools (Documents, Drive, Calendar, and more) to improve employee collaboration.
  • Simple and transparent management of all accounts and provision of secure access to services and other corporate functions.

 

 

Solution: After analyzing their needs with the Cloudfresh team, SendPulse decided to upgrade to a paid version of the GWS Business Starter service and get an enterprise solution for employee collaboration and productivity.

One of SendPulse’s main requests was to receive corporate mail with a company domain based on GWS. Given that mail is one of the primary services of GWS, now every company employee communicates with partners, customers, and colleagues from the corporate domain received from GWS.

Another bonus was creating mail groups – a shared address for many users. Now an email can be sent to an individual employee and a group of people – a team, which optimizes communication and saves time.

While Business Starter is GWS’s basic plan, its functionality allows for secure and convenient Google Meet meetings with up to 100 people and no time limits. It enables the SendPulse team to quickly organize online meetings that can be attended on any device. Meeting scheduling has also become more convenient: employees have access to colleagues’ calendars and can arrange meetings, taking into account the workload of each participant.

SendPulse team members collaborate on Docs, Sheets, and Presentations in real-time and have extended Drive storage of up to 30 GB per user. It allows storing all documents in one place, saving time searching for colleagues’ emails and messages, and more disciplined compliance with corporate information processing rules.

Thanks to the built-in protection against phishing, spam, and viruses, which blocks more than 99.9% of attacks and unauthorized access to company data, connecting GWS Business Starter made it possible to ensure a high level of corporate information security, which was one of the company’s key requests.

With the transition to Business Starter, IT administrators of the company can manage user accounts and security settings, accesses, and services from the administrator console. In addition, they can monitor usage trends of GWS tools through audits and reports.
