About the client: Netpeak Group is a group of IT companies focusing on performance marketing and creating their own SaaS platforms, mobile applications, and new digital projects. The company helps to develop clients’ businesses using online opportunities and offers services for SEO, PPC, Email marketing, mobile application promotion, web analytics and business intelligence, SERP, and others.

Netpeak Group is 900 specialists, 5,000 clients from all over the world, and more than 100,000 users of the products of the group of companies. The basis of Netpeak is a team, so the development and training of its employees is in the first place for the company.

Challenge: Netpeak is guided by the principle that the main engine of efficiency is a team, so it works tirelessly to optimize workflows for its employees. One of the essential components of the effective work of the team is the ease of managing work systems, flexibility, and convenience.

With rapid scaling, an insufficient number of corporate emails among company employees, separate domains on different servers, and complexity in managing and controlling access have become critical challenges that require immediate solutions. A team of system administrators managed over 900 personal employee accounts, making proper security and control impossible. It became a key request for Netpeak’s transition to a single system.

For greater efficiency and flexibility, the team also needed the ability to store files in one place, collaborate on projects together, conduct high-quality online video calls without time limits, and minimize the time spent logging into various tools.

Thus, the transition to the Google Workspace cloud infrastructure has become an important milestone in the company for better team collaboration, the goal of which was to help build the majority of processes in a single workspace for everyone.

 

 

Solution: To address existing requests for workflow optimization, the company switched to using Google Workspace (from now on, GWS) tools with the support of Cloudfresh.

To speed up teams’ transition to new tools, Netpeak collaborated with Cloudfresh specialists, who provided advice throughout the entire project period: from migration to GWS customization. Cloudfresh experts conducted training for the company’s employees on the administration and security functions of GWS, the primary purpose of which was to demonstrate the capabilities of fundamental management of users, services, and endpoints. 900 Netpeak employees use the GWS Business Starter plan.

To improve communication with colleagues and partners, a high level of security and management of corporate emails, company employees received professional emails with a company domain, and improved administrative control for the Netpeak IT team. IT professionals can now manage user accounts, access other features and services, and configure security from a central admin console. Administrators can manage mobile devices remotely and have access to an audit and report to analyze usage trends for GWS services. In addition, since most of the employees already had personal accounts in Gmail, the interface and functionality of the platform were quite clear and convenient.

GWS tools have improved the communication between the company’s teams and made collaboration fast and efficient, even at a rapid scaling process. Netpeak teams can collaborate on projects in the same document using Google Docs. With Google Slides, employees worldwide can co-author presentations for partners and clients. Google Forms helps them quickly and without the technical knowledge to conduct a survey and easily save and analyze answers in Google Sheets. It allows Netpeak to collaborate efficiently from anywhere, at any time, using one convenient workspace.

 

 

Considering the company’s request for a protected and secure environment to save and transfer documents and other files, the Google Drive tool has undoubtedly come in handy for the company. Now all files and backups are securely stored in the cloud on Google Drive with enough space for each user – 30 GB. Therefore, employees can share and find their needed documents without wasting time.

Another priority request from Netpeak was the ability to conduct high-quality video meetings with colleagues, partners, and clients with easy and understandable access for everyone. From now on, Netpeak employees can join a Google Meet meeting in one click from any device, which helps to always stay in touch and hold meetings without time limits and with the possibility of participation of up to 100 people, inviting other participants simply by their email.

Results: GWS tools help to save time and money that used to be spent on routine work while improving the interaction of employees with customers, colleagues, and partners. The Netpeak team uses all the functionality available to them from Google Workspace and has a high percentage of involvement of team members in its services:
