Challenge: To improve and optimize the work in the company, Genesis wanted to find an email service within a common corporate domain with:
One of the company’s main challenges was monitoring documents shared outside the corporate domain.
Solution: Since 2015, the company has been using a free plan from Google Workspace, using tools such as Gmail, Google Docs, Slides, Forms, Drive, Slides, Meet, and more.
In response to new needs and challenges, Genesis has moved to a new Google Workspace plan – Enterprise Standard.
New functionality from Google Workspace allows you to monitor all documents automatically and notify the administrator if any document has been opened for viewing outside the company.
Genesis has taken advantage of other handy features such as shared Folders and Google Vault. It allows you to control access to shared files and not worry about their security.
Also, the company uses Google Workspace as the sole entry point to many services. Genesis plans to develop target audiences for accessing certain services within the Intranet and connect corporate Google searches.
Over time, the company also began to use the “Rooms” functionality to book meeting rooms in its offices.
Results: Together with Google Workspace services and the transition to the Enterprise Standard plan, Genesis managed to optimize employees’ work within one corporate domain and automate most routine tasks.
Document access control was one of the company’s key concerns solved thanks to Google Workspace Enterprise Standard.
Flexibility, control, working with cloud storage, improved security features, the ability to work in shared Google Drive, and effective online collaboration have taken the work of the company’s employees to a new level.
