Google has added to the Google Hangouts Meet service the ability to make free calls to any number in the US and Canada from many countries, including Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and other countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Now, if you have a Google Workspace (ex., G Suite) account, you can call from almost anywhere and not pay for international calls with subscribers from the US and Canada. It is enough to start the Hangouts Meet service and click the “Add someone by phone” button. The dialed subscriber will receive a regular phone call using the Google Voice service from the nearest PBX. No apps or Google accounts for the person you call, and no fees are charged; the service is free for both parties. Ordinary people do not have acquaintances or relatives in the US or Canada. Especially for users from countries where international call rates are expensive.
