By the time Cloudfresh joined Washmen’s journey in early 2025, the company was already a mature and successful Asana customer. Asana had been in active use since 2022 and was deeply embedded in daily operations across teams.
Asana was originally chosen for its workflow flexibility and strong API capabilities, which allowed it to integrate with Washmen’s internal OPS Dashboard. This made it possible to centralize work, structure processes, and maintain full visibility across projects and investigations, without forcing teams to change how they already worked.
As Washmen continued to grow, operational complexity increased. Managing a higher volume of workflows, claims, and investigations introduced a new challenge: how to scale existing processes without adding manual effort or operational overhead. At this stage, the focus shifted from adoption to optimization: enabling teams to work smarter, and more consistently at scale.
The challenge was no longer about adopting a project management tool, but about getting more value from Asana at scale. This is where Cloudfresh, official Asana partner in the Gulf Council, stepped in. Not to replace an existing setup, but to elevate it.
Today, Asana is a core operational tool at Washmen. It’s used daily by the Claims team (Damage and Missing cases), the Shoe & Bagcare team, and within the Carpet process. All critical tasks, updates, and approvals live in Asana, ensuring nothing gets lost and everyone stays aligned.
Washmen needed to evolve their setup with a clear objective: reduce manual work, speed up execution, and give teams smarter tools to manage a growing volume of cases. This is the point where the collaboration with Cloudfresh began.
Cloudfresh worked closely with Washmen to evaluate Enterprise capabilities and identify where AI and advanced automations could meaningfully improve existing workflows. The goal wasn’t to add complexity, but to make existing processes simpler, faster, and more consistent. With Cloudfresh’s support, Washmen moved from structured task management to intelligent, AI-driven operations.
After upgrading to Asana Enterprise, Washmen gained access to a new level of automation and AI-driven capabilities, including:

In addition to AI-powered workflows, Washmen relies on tight integrations between Asana, internal systems, and everyday communication tools to keep operations moving smoothly.
Tasks are automatically created in Asana directly from Slack messages. This ensures that important requests, updates, or issues shared in Slack are immediately captured as actionable tasks, without manual follow-ups or copy-pasting.
Data from Washmen’s internal OPS dashboard feeds directly into Asana through automations, creating and updating tasks in real time. This keeps operational teams aligned and ensures full visibility across claims and investigations.
Together, these integrations help Washmen eliminate gaps between communication and execution, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks as the business scales.
Asana AI Studio became a key element in automating Washmen’s damage claims workflow. This was the stage where AI moved beyond basic automation and started delivering tangible operational value.
The biggest impact came from the conclusive claim analysis. AI reviews the full task context, analyzes attached images, and produces a clear assessment with actionable suggestions. This dramatically reduced the amount of manual review required and helped the team make faster, more consistent decisions across similar cases.
Another standout capability was image reading. During claim processing, AI can interpret attached photos and support the analysis with accurate observations and recommendations. This was an unexpected win for the team, working more reliably than anticipated and removing a significant amount of manual effort.
AI Studio also proved valuable for communication workflows. AI-powered email drafting captures key details automatically, resulting in faster, more consistent responses and saving additional time in day-to-day operations.
Overall, the implemented workflows run smoothly and have significantly reduced manual work, making daily operations easier and more structured. While Washmen is very satisfied with the current setup, they identified one improvement that could further enhance efficiency: the ability to configure AI rules to run only once per task. This would prevent repeated executions when a task moves through workflow stages or receives additional comments, keeping processes even cleaner.

Throughout this phase, as an Asana Implementation Partner, played a critical role in translating Washmen’s real operational needs into practical, working AI workflows. Their hands-on approach ensured that AI Studio was not just technically implemented, but fully adopted and delivering real value to the team.

After deploying Asana Enterprise and implementing Asana AI Studio with Cloudfresh, Washmen saw clear, measurable improvements across operations:

In 2026, Washmen teamed up with Cloudfresh to expand their AI capabilities and introduce Asana AI Teammates. The move made simple task-level automation a thing of the past.
Before implementation, teams had manually compiled claim histories, made reactive refund decisions, and relied on third-party automation tools that eventually hit volume limits.
After deploying AI Teammates, these workflows became autonomous. With “handshake” automation, teammates trigger one another and automatically run themselves. As a result, employees stepped back completely from specific operational loops.
The system now warns staff about risk in advance, including fabric-related damage patterns, so they don’t have to respond after the issue has already escalated. At the same time, previous third-party automations were replaced, and all operations are now consolidated into a self-running, AI-driven structure.

What began as experimentation quickly turned into viral adoption across operational teams, shifting Washmen from reactive automation to proactive, AI-driven operations.
The collaboration between Washmen and Cloudfresh goes beyond a one-time implementation. Cloudfresh continues to act as a trusted partner, helping Washmen leverage Asana Enterprise and Asana AI Studio as their operations evolve.
By combining a deep understanding of Washmen’s operational reality with hands-on expertise in Asana and AI workflows, Cloudfresh ensures that the platform keeps supporting real business needs, not just technical possibilities. From refining existing workflows to exploring new automation opportunities, the focus remains on efficiency, clarity, and scalable growth.
As Washmen continues to expand, Asana, including AI Studio & Teammates, provide a flexible foundation, while Cloudfresh supports ongoing optimization and adoption. Together, they’ve built a setup that not only solves today’s challenges, but continues to evolve as the business grows.
In 2026, Asana announced the launch of its UAE data center, marking an important milestone for organizations operating in the region. For Washmen, this development adds a new layer of strength to an already AI-driven operational setup.
