• Gemini Advanced: Chat with Google’s next-gen AI in the Gemini app on your laptop or mobile. Use Gems to build an AI team for routine tasks or tackle complex projects like coding, research, and data analysis.
• NotebookLM Plus: Supercharge team knowledge sharing by uploading your sources to get instant insights and podcast-like Audio Overviews. Enjoy personalized notebooks, advanced sharing options, usage analytics, and increased Audio Overviews, queries, notebooks, and sources.

Simplified Plans with Google AI Included at No Extra Cost

Google has simplified its Workspace plans and pricing by removing the need for a separate add-on to access the latest generative AI capabilities. For example, a customer using the Workspace Business Standard plan with the Gemini Business add-on previously paid $32 per user, per month. Now, the same customer will pay $14 per user, per month—just $2 more than the base Workspace price without Gemini.

Here’s a quick look at the Google Workspace pricing for the plans with Gemini included:

Annual Plan:

• Business Standard: $14 per user per month
• Business Plus: $22 per user per month
• Enterprise: Custom

Flexible Plan:

• Business Standard: $16.80 per user per month
• Business Plus: $26.40 per user per month
• Enterprise: Custom

The new pricing took effect on January 16, 2025 for new customers, while existing customers will see updates starting March 17, 2025, or at the next renewal with an Annual/Fixed-term plan, whichever is later. Very small business customers are not affected by these changes at this time.

Important Notes For Google Workspace Clients

If you have an active Annual Plan, your current pricing will remain unchanged throughout its duration. However, if you’re on a Flexible Plan and wish to secure current pricing, you can switch to an Annual Plan before March 17, 2025.

For those who previously purchased Gemini for Google Workspace, you won’t be charged for the add-on after January 31, 2025. Rest assured, you can continue using Gemini uninterrupted through the transition period. And if you’ve prepaid for your Gemini subscription, any remaining months will be credited and automatically applied to your future invoices.

To support customers impacted by the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, Israel, and Gaza, Google has paused price updates for existing customers in these regions until further notice. This applies to customers with billing countries listed as Israel, Palestine, or Ukraine. New subscriptions and sales offers will be subject to updated pricing.

Key Dates for Your Google Workspace AI Transition

Here are the key dates regarding the change:

• January 15, 2025: AI features start rolling into Google Workspace Business SKU editions. Gemini for Google Workspace SKUs are not available for ordering for new or existing customers.
• January 29, 2025: AI features start rolling into Google Workspace Enterprise SKU editions.
• January 31, 2025: Last day of billing for Gemini for Google Workspace SKUs. Last day for any sales offer for Gemini for Google Workspace SKUs.
• March 17, 2025: New pricing for resold Google Workspace Business and Enterprise SKU subscriptions takes effect.
