Senior Sales Executive (GitLab Platform & Professional Services)

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Polish or Czech.
  • At least B2 level in English.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience in SaaS/IaaS fields, specifically focused on enterprise software, with a strong emphasis on DevOps, security, or developer tools. Demonstrable experience selling the GitLab platform and/or a strong understanding of its capabilities is highly preferred.
  • Proven success in selling professional services in conjunction with software solutions (e.g., implementation, migration, training, consulting, managed services).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences, from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Proficient in managing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and understanding their strategic importance in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Deep knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps) and associated toolchains.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the GitLab platform, with a strong focus on bundling and selling comprehensive professional services (including Implementation, Migration, Education, Integration, Advisory, and Support services, as well as specialized packages like “Fresh Start Onboarding,” “Health Check Audit,” “Fresh Pro Professional Implementation,” “Ultra Fresh Advanced Implementation,” and the “GitLab Duo AI Elevate GitLab with AI-powered services” package). Target clients within the Cloud Markets across EMEA and CEE.
  • Conduct high-level negotiations and presentations with major companies across Europe, focusing on the strategic benefits of adopting GitLab’s unified platform for DevSecOps transformation.
  • Continuously assess the competitive landscape and customer needs within the DevSecOps space, adapting sales strategies to meet market demands and drive revenue growth for both GitLab licenses and associated services.
  • Identify and penetrate new enterprise market segments, leveraging GitLab Solutions and professional services to improve client outcomes related to accelerated software delivery, enhanced security, and improved collaboration.
  • Work closely with marketing and business development teams to align sales strategies with broader company goals.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast revenue, and consistently achieve or exceed ambitious sales targets for both platform licenses and services.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in expanding new markets with outbound activities.
  • Sales or technical certifications related to Cloud Solutions, DevOps, or Security are advantageous.
